Chiropractic Care is a conservative approach to joint injuries; involving neither drugs nor surgery. Studies have shown Chiropractic care to be the most effective form of treatment for simple and complicated low back pain; providing both symptomatic relief and restoring normal joint function. Our Chiropractic Physicians use their care, skill and clinical judgment to:
- Properly diagnosis your injuries
- Apply rehabilitative therapies to support your body’s recuperative abilities
- Utilize early conservative interventions to slow and reverse the impact of injuries
- Guide you through conservative care to restore normal function
Active Rehabilitative Therapies
Our clinics utilize a range of therapies to address your injuries. These therapies support the normal healing cycle, stimulate the restoration of normal tissue function, joint function and pain free movement. The therapies are called active because the patient participates in the therapies. In our patient focused model therapies are normally paired with rehabilitative exercise to multiply patient benefits and speed recovery.
Our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) under the direction of our doctors will address your soft tissue injuries. Using a combination of light and deep tissue work to promote pain relief, release scar tissue and promote normal tissue healing. This therapy not only is deeply relaxing for patients who have suffered with extensive post accident muscle tension, but it also slow, stops and reverses muscle atrophy caused by injuries.
Cold laser therapy has been shown to have benefits for people of all ages and all levels of mobility. This treatment helps to eliminate pain and restore mobility. By stimulating the tissues, it promotes the reduction of adhesions in the muscles and increases lymphatic and blood circulation to speed the bodies recuperative abilities.
Using a slow comfortable traction of the spine the patient experiences the benefits of returning motion to the injured spinal joints. Many of our patients describe the experience as having their muscles and joints deeply relaxed.
Electrical Muscular Stimulation – This is a widely used rehabilitative therapy that addresses pain, muscle spasm and tissue healing. A number of different protocols are used to address spinal as well as injuries of the extremities; arms and legs.
Frequently used in combination with other therapies, contrast therapy can reduce muscle inflammation, pain and slow scar tissue formation. It can also help return tissue flexibility and strength when used in combination with rehabilitative exercise and stretching.
Just because an accident has taken your car out of action doesn’t mean you have to be. Our offices will work with you to arrange transportation so that you can receive the care you need.
